Participants will: - Gain valuable knowledge about sexual harassment that can be shared with staff - Fulfill the manager/supervisor training requirement outlined in the NYS Sexual Harassment regulations - Understand the definition of sexual harassment consistent with NYS laws - Learn from real world examples what constitutes unlawful sexual harassment - Learn your rights as an employee or volunteer under the law - Learn how to respond effectively to complaints - Learn how to establish a culture of respect to reduce the likelihood of sexual harassment in the workplace
Representatives from the Workers Center will also be on hand to answer questions and provide community resources and information to participants.
