Family Medicine
It is Dr. Susan Hardy's first day on the job at her father's rustic small town family practice after taking over when a heart attack forces him into early retirement. Susan is determined to make the best of what she sees as a bad situation until her loquacious assistant, Betsy, and an unruly first patient cause everything to spiral out of control. Things only get worse when her father arrives to meddle in her affairs.
The Healing of Harman
From Academy Award-nominated director, Seth Pinsker, comes a short film about hope, faith and forgiveness. A Kurdish refugee working in the heartland of America (Lincoln, Nebraska) as an interpreter, meets a mysterious man that asks for help with life and death consequences. In todays divisive and polarized climate, our goal with this film has been to entertain while also making a positive social impact by emotionally touching hearts and minds with what is ultimately a life affirming message.
Summer Hill
The teenagers of a rural town are confronted by the not-so-charming realities of their hometown on the eve of its annual beauty pageant.
Easy As Pie
Many women in the fragile time between college and career support the men in their life while putting their own goals on hold. This film follows one woman's journey from dependence to self-worth after her boyfriend leaves her broken-hearted. With the help of her friends and a potential new love interest, she discovers that she is not only deserving of a healthy relationship, but also capable of making her dreams come true on her own terms.
Five O'Clock Shadow
Five O'Clock Shadow, is the story of an Indian-American mother who is the victim of racial abuse. Her worst fear rises to the surface and for the first time ever, she asks the question: Do we really belong here?
