ARTS ENCOUNTER, MONET'S GARGEN, AGES 3-6
Your young ones meet for 2 classes daily (dance and art), for 4 consecutive days, to explore, through dance, art, music, and foods from around the world - a different theme each week:
MONETS GAREN: July 29 - Aug 1
Just as Linnea was inspired by Monets garden, we are inspired to bring his gardens to life.
Your artists and dancers will recreate Monets Japanese bridge, the water, the water lilies, the goldfish, and sunlight.
As Claude Monet once said Dancing is the next best thing to visiting Paris.
Monday through Thursday,
Your young dancers will explore a different story ballet each week culminating in a Thursday family performance.
The children will use improvisation, basic movement concepts, folk dance, and classical ballet to recreate the story ballets.
Your children will design and construct costumes, props, and scenery to enhance their production.
At snack time, well explore different cultures as we sample foods from around the world.
