Upper Dublin & Wissahickon Valley Public Libraries present the Spring 2019 Lets Discuss it! author program: An Evening with Dorothea Benton Frank as she discusses her newly released novel Queen Bee, the latest book in her Lowcountry series and her twentieth novel to date (published by Harper Collins/May 28, 2019.)

Set on Franks beloved Sullivans Island, South Carolina Queen Bee is a classic Lowcountry Tale  warm, wise and hilarious, it roars with humanity and a dropperful of whodunit added for good measure by an unseen hand. Born and raised on Sullivans Island, South Carolina where most of her novels take place, Dorothea Benton Frank is the New York Times bestselling author of 20 novels. Her first novel, Sullivans Island (Berkley Publishing 2000) debuted at number 9 on the NYT bestsellers list, with over one million copies in print in ten foreign languages. Her subsequent novels in the popular Lowcountry series have all been NYT bestsellers. Frank is also a nationally recognized volunteer fundraiser for the arts and education, and an advocate of literacy programs and womens issues. She lives in the New York City area with her husband.
