You've heard the phrases often (and might have even said them yourself): Why are puppy mills legal? What can we do to stop them? How can I make a difference?
Here's your chance to learn more about how you can make an impact in DuPage County and throughout other areas of Illinois at the DuPage County Puppy Mill Workshop.
Hosted by DuPage County Animal Services and The Humane Society of the United States, this event will cover key topics such as passing local, state, and county laws, building coalitions, and representing the issue effectively in front of the media and general public.
Learn from those who have successfully inspired their local cities and towns to pass humane ordinance banning the retail sale of commercially bred animals from puppy mills, kitten mills and other like facilities.
Together we can take a stand against puppy mills and make Illinois a more humane state!
