About: Spring tonics exist in every culture with a temperate climate. These traditional remedies were used to keep our bodies in the flow of the seasonal shifts that all living things experience this time of year. We can use these local and abundant herbs to help us shed the excesses from winter and support the bodies innate detoxification process. In this workshop we will taste and discuss a variety of herbs that grow in our region and how to use them appropriately. We will make our own herbal vinegar to take home.
Cost: $35
This workshop is led by Ashley Davis who is a seasoned herbalist and part owner of Tonic Herb Shop. Ashley studied herbal medicine under Kathleen Maier at Sacred Plant Traditions in Charlottesville, VA. She teaches and sees clients in Shepherdstown, WV
