Trauma 101 LTC: Understanding Trauma, Resilience and Trauma-Informed Care in Long Term Care Settings
WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING ABOUT THESE TRAUMA 101 TRAININGS:

"The training was excellent and I am glad this topic is being recognized as important to know and understand about individuals who are being cared for in long term care and other human service settings." ~ Kathy Markward, Director of Community Life, Mennonite Home Communities

"This [Trauma 101 training] was very informative & helpful with many things to take away, to think about, and to plan for! (and thank you for the nudge on Self Care)" ~ Lorie Zeamer, BSW, CSA, Community Life Administrator, Brethren Village

"I recently attended the Trauma 101 course and I am totally in awe of how well the instructor explained and enriched the understanding of ACEs and trauma in general during the course. There were many people there, and she had us all on our feet, engaging in active learning, sharing with each other, broadening and deepening our knowledge through activities, great videos which were well-interspersed throughout, and questions that made us really dig deep and think hard." ~ Dr. Lark Eshleman, Attachment and Trauma Consultant, Author and Educator, Executive Director, About Child Trauma Foundation

"Trauma 101 takes on the challenge of engaging us in a journey to better understand the lasting impact of trauma.  The presenters are masterful in their approach that blends facts with personal stories, self-reflection, and self-care, highlighting the trauma, but also leading us to embrace resilience and recovery." ~ Dr. Hilda Shirk, MSW, President & CEO, Lancaster Health Center (formerly SouthEast Lancaster Health Services)
