Medicare Fundamentals Training

Avisery is holding a Medicare Fundamentals Training from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at our AgeOptions office in Oak Park, IL. We are pleased to announce that we will be offering 4 CEU credits at this training! Light breakfast will also be served. Please read the information below for training topics and registration information. The last day to register is September 18th!

The Training Registration fee is $299.

If you work for certain community-based non-profit or a government agency, you may be eligible to register for the training at a discounted rate of $50. There are a limited number of seats available at the $50 rate. Please email Avisery@ageoptions.org with your name, phone number, and agency information to receive a coupon code for this discounted rate.

This half-day, interactive workshop is great for professionals who would benefit from a basic understanding of healthcare options and resources available to older adults or for professionals who are new to the aging field. The workshop provides a review of the following topics:
Parts of Medicare
Medicare & Medicaid Eligibility
What Medicare does not cover (and what Medicaid might)
Where to refer patients for Medicare counseling and other aging services

All participants are expected to attend the entire training.
