This event honors the Origins of Ballroom. As always we look to the way things were for our Pioneers, Icons, and Legends. We create new beginnings for the next generation because WHAT WAS THEN, IS NOW AND FOREVER.

All effects using these materials must enter the facility completed/finished. Anyone caught using these materials inside the event space will be disqualified and removed from the ball.***

Lets take it back to those days when the battles were fierce and the shade was left on the floor. Grab your girlfriend cuz its time to shake it up! Partners can NOT be from the same House. 007s are welcome to play too! Show the judges how collaboration can take us all to the next level! Partners must get their 10s TOGETHER, serving us RUNWAY and PERFORMANCE. Bring it as an iconic tag- team that makes you feel like you woke up in your wildest dream! (Ex. Fred and Barney vs. Bonnie and Clyde vs. Batman and Robin vs. Morticia and Gomez vs. Bert and Ernie vs. Fresh Prince and Carlton, etc.)

Break down of Grand Prize Team Performance and Runway
The Grand Prize Team Performance and Runway category will go down as a typical tag-team battle (still bring it as a famous duo). Be ready to slay as a team - Runway will battle Runway, then tag your partner Performance v Performance. Let's see who's the fiercest duo on the floor!

Dont worry, we didnt forget about you! For all of those girls that prefer to fly solo, or were unable to find a partner, we are revealing two new categories:
OTA Performance and OTA Runway!!
Heres the twist the winners of these two categories will enter the final battle zone for a chance to snatch Grand Prize Team Performance and Runway.
Effect for both new OTA categories:
Too badass to need a sidekick?! RE-AWAKEN a look inspired by an iconic persona who needed no one else to make an impact (Ex. Cat Woman Vs. Angela Davis vs. Superman vs. Maya Angelou vs. Frida Kahlo vs. Tupac vs. Qin Shi Huang etc)
