Maurizio Russomanno Live at The Arts Center of the Capital Region

I'm looking forward to performing in such a wonderful space! The Arts Center of the Capital Region is located right smack in the middle of downtown Troy on 265 River Street. There is parking right next door and if you haven't been you are in for a treat.

These past years, most of my performances have been in bars, restaurants and outdoor festivals. These performances have kept me quite busy and allowed me to develop my craft/songwriting in front of such a diverse audience. I've met lots of wonderful people and made some great friends. I feel sometimes it's a challenge for a listener to truly process the entire breadth/meaning of a song when there are so many distractions. I also tend to mix in cover songs to help build a bridge/find common ground between me and new listeners. I feel now is a good time to perform an all original concert/showcase, for my friends, old and new fans alike. My hope is that the audience walks away from this concert feeling fully nourished by my songs,the stories behind the songs, banter/questions from the audience and a nice intermission where everybody can have a drink - some light fare and get to know each other.

I don't want to overstay my welcome, so I'm planning on a 50 minute first set - followed by a 30 minute intermission-social and a 40 minute second set.

I'm really excited about this show and hope we can do more of these types of event/showcases in the future!
