SONGWRITERS IN THE ROUND CONCERT! Grand Lake, Colorado

This concert will be an IN THE ROUND format featuring the extraordinary talents of singer songwriters Doug Gill, Lynn Langham's and Grand Lake's own Peggy Mann.

All three artists have had over 40 years each of experience in the world of Songwriting! Additionally they have performed at the Iconic Bluebird Cafe in Nashville along with many many other venues.

Lynn is a grammy winner for her song performed by Emmy Lou Harris and Rodney Crowell as the title track "Old Yellow Moon" on their duets record. This record was named album of the year in 2013 Other credits include, Tammy Wynette, Wynonna, Marshall Tucker,Patty Loveless and Pam Tillis just to name a few!

Doug Gill is another accomplished songwriter. His songs have been recorded by a long list of artists including, Patty Loveless, Pam Tillis, Chris LeDoux, Tammy Wynette, Wynonna, and The Marshall Tucker Band. Doug's song "I Just Come Here For the Music" was the first single from Don Williams' album "And So It Goes". Recorded as a duet with Don and Alison Krauss,it was nominated for a 2013 Grammy award. The following year saw the release of "Stronger Back" on Williams' final album "Reflections".

Peggy Mann who resides in Grand Lake, Colorado is also a Nashville recording artist. She has written, recorded and performed there. Peggy has 7 albums of original music to her credit with her most recent record "Don't Waste Time" recorded on music row under Producer Monty Powell. Powell has hundreds of his works recorded by Nashville musicians. Powell is quoted as saying that Peggy is a world class songwriter and has taken several of her songs to Nashville to pitch for recording. Peggy performed with Powell, Anna Wilson and Matt Girard at the Bluebird cafe. No small feat for a local Colorado gal! Peggy has also recorded over 250 radio commercials during her career and presently has a band in Colorado that has won the Best of Grand for 2016,2017 and 2018. She is a terrific songwriter that makes you feel as if she has just written the words to your life She has a voice to be reckoned with! Soft and sweet and also bluesy and powerful.
