ANCO in Concert
On April 7, 2019, at 5pm, ANCO performs in St. John's Church, Lafayette Square, 16th and H Streets, NW, Washington, DC.
This is our full orchestra in residency at St. John's Church, Lafayette Square, and presents a thrilling opportunity to hear our unconducted full orchestra in a historic, beautiful--and beautiful-sounding--space.
The orchestra will perform Haydn's Symphony No. 101 (the "Clock") and Fauré's "Masques et bergamasques." In addition, the St. Johns Choir, a professional choir of twelve voices, will join ANCO to present the Imogen Holst orchestration of Benjamin Britten's cantata Rejoice in the Lamb.
