Join upstate New York's premier gypsy swing ensemble, Hot Club of Saratoga for an evening of swinging gypsy jazz music.
Tonight's concert will feature their current Artist-in-Residence, Ken Allday. Ken is from Louisville, Kentucky and plays with Swing 39 as well as other projects. For the past couple of years he has taught at Django in June where he was among the most highly rated teachers this past year and has performed alongside Tcha Limberger, Denis Chang, Adrien Moignard and Ben Powell, among others.
This event is open to listeners and players alike. After 2 sets from Hot Club and Ken, the group will lead an informal gypsy jazz jam, which ticket holders are welcome to stay for. All players are welcome to join in. Please bring your instruments to the show.
