With over 15 million views of their videos and over a million fans worldwide, Leonid & Friends is launching their first American tour THIS JANUARY! In less than 4 years this band that started as a fun studio project amongst friends in Moscow has become an international phenomenon.
What do they do that fans are raving about? L&F plays the music of the band Chicago, a multi-platinum album band from Chicago, Illinois originally called Chicago Transit Authority. But they dont just play the music of Chicago, they play it with the energy and spirit of the original band, enough to make fans of Chicago want to travel to Moscow to see them!
But now American fans can see them where Chicago had its rootsin Chicagoland! 210 Live is proud to present Leonid & Friends in Highwood, Illinois, a growing dining and entertainment district just north of the city.

Leonid Vorobyevs goal was a studio project in dedication to the popular 70s American group Chicago under the motto musicians for musicians. Their first video went viral, a wonderful surprise, but it all just blew up when Chicago itself published the video Leonid & Friends on its official website.
In March 2017, the album Chicagovich was released, followed by tens of thousands of reposts, likes and comments. As American music critic Phil Treinor said, no one expected that Russians could perform our music better than our musicians.
Leonid Vorobyev: "That was my crazy idea 2014 fall Ive reached a pension age - (60 in Russia) but I didnt retire from business, I just decided to make something special to celebrate the date. The best way is to gather my friends for recording one of my favorite songs. I didnt expect such effect. Every musician have a job and lack of time. But they are my friends and I was strongly determined to drive the nail home. Ive started to make it just for myself and partly for my peers-musicians to encourage them, but later I saw everybody love it more and more. Step by step... and in the end it seemed good enough to call two guys with camera and shoot the video. When the first video (Brand New Love Affair) got so warm reception every participant told me lets do the next one. What have I gotten into? I said Okay, Make Me Smile is the next! Now we have seven songs finished and four more songs in progression. So its just started over."
