Greg Farnese sings Cole Porter classics and more. He will be accompanied by Tom Lawton on piano and Mike Boone on bass.

Greg Farnese is a modern-day throwback vocalist, a crooner, if you will. He reignites the treasured and timeless classics from The Great American Songbook in his live performances and blends them with his unique interpretations of his modern-day favorites.

A South Jersey native, Farnese began his career in acting and moved to Hollywood, California where he worked in theater, television and films. Missing his roots, he ultimately moved back to the east coast, where he started his own company producing content for television, commercials, the web and documentaries. It was here in New Jersey that his love of jazz and his vocal abilities took root and he began singing professionally. His soulful tone and inspired phrasing, as well as his reputation as a consummate performer, have produced a wide fan base of musicians and music lovers.

In 2017 Farnese released his very first EP titled "Set In Motion," which was picked up by the prestigious label Victor Records. With a mix of contemporary covers (Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers) to classic standards (Cole Porter, Rogers & Hart), "Set in Motion" has been admired by a cross section of listeners. Farnese is proud to have shared the bandstand with renowned jazz artists including Tom Lawton and Mike Boone, who will accompany him at this show, as well as Tom Adams, Behn Gillece, Jim Holton, Andy Lalasis, Larry McKenna, Madison Rast, Chris Simonini, Lee Smith and Tim Warfield.
