HUDSON OPERA THEATRE'S 2018-2019 Season includes Saint-Saëns' gentle and sentimental "Christmas Oratorio", coupled with the monumental power of his towering "Organ Symphony"; "Rigoletto", one of Verdi's most tuneful tales: love, deceit, murder and corruption are the tools of the trade in this dark masterpiece; Bizet's spellbinding "Carmen" with its cavalcade of lush and exquisite melodies, its intense passion, and its inevitable, striking conclusion; and finally, Puccini's magnificent and heartbreaking "Madama Butterfly" with its achingly stunning score and its unbearable tragedy. All three operas will be given with sets, costumes, chorus and orchestra, and presented In-the-Round. Regularly priced at $150, you can obtain tickets for the entire season for just $135.
