June Edible and Medicinal Plant Walk
During this two hour walk at Magnuson park, we will likely encounter such wonderful medicinals as St John's Wort, rose, late Douglas fir tips, black hawthorn berries and more. The park has a wonderful blend of wetland plants, including black cottonwood, english hawthorn, many species of willow, red alder, cat tail and rose. I'm so excited to teach there during this season!
We will carry on despite the weather, so dress accordingly. It's Seattle, so even in June we're not guaranteed Sun :(
Please purchase your tickets ahead of time on Brown Paper Tickets to guarantee your spot. You are also responsible for paying attention to the meeting spot and looking it up ahead of time. There are several parking lots at the Arboretum.
I host plant walks every month in various parks, even in the winter! Attending them in different seasons is a good way to expand your repertoire.
