A Christmas Carol Presented by The Music Makers of Studio 1

The Music Makers of Studio 1 will usher in the Christmas Season with an original production of Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL, the beloved story with a positive message for all. We are honored to have this group of adults doing music therapy at Studio 1 with the amazing Rosemary Fisher.

From Rosemary--

"This time, we are using a somewhat different approach to our project. First, we made sure that everyone was totally familiar with the story and its characters and when casting we explored the personality of every character, encouraging each participant to feel and express their role. In essence, we are trying to LIVE THE STORY.

Instead of a pre-written script, ours is an 'evolving script.' beginning with a broad outline, filling in as we go, encouraging spontaneous verbalizations, gestures and body language with original songs to enhance the story line.

To help make it possible for all interested persons--especially families--to attend, we are lowering the ticket price to $5.00 per person. Because of this, we are depending heavily on donations!

Those of us who are privileged to work with these remarkable people have noticed the significant growth and confidence that has taken place in the past few years. We sincerely hope you will be able to attend our very POSITIVE, UNIQUE, PROFESSIONAL, and INCLUSIVE performances to introduce the Christmas season!"
