Rising Strong; Rumbling with Perfectionism and Shame
Would you like to have more compassion for yourself and others, more creativity and courage?
Have you had disappointment that has been de-railing?
Would you like more authenticity and acceptance of yourself and the people around you?
Do you wrestle with self sabotage? Want to trust yourself, find your strength and build your courage muscle?
Rising Strong is a workshop based on evidenced based research done by Brené Brown, a researcher at The University of Houston School of Social Work, New York Times Best selling author, and TED talk presenter of the Power of Vulnerability ( viewed 31,000,000 times.)
This workshop facilitated by experienced Daring Way™ facilitators Joalla Gold and Lailey Jenkins will explore our unique stories, paying particular attention to how we fall and how we rise strong from failure and disappointment.
We will explore ways to 'rumble' with what happens when we are in the face down moments. Most of us have a critic that speaks loudly in moments of failure. Learn ways to build trust, acceptance and use your critic for growth.
This experience is about finding the voice of self kindness and generosity of spirit with yourself and others.
We explore how our thoughts, emotions and actions create our story.
We will explore what it means to dare greatly and the role being kind to ourselves without numbing ourselves to the difficult feelings, like anger, grief, and sadness plays.
When we numb ourselves to grief, shame and sadness we numb ourselves to joy.
We explore ways to rumble with hard emotions and expectations so we can write a brave new ending to our story.
Be brave and curious.
If you are tired of striving for perfection join us for a weekend of connection, authenticity, courage, laughter and curiosity at the wonderful Garland Hotel.
