A lifetime dedicated to playing, teaching and composing music comes together in Deb Cavanaugh's new CD, "Musical Memoirs." With this innovative 10-song project, Deb recounts key moments in her life with a song and a written story. Raising children, busking on urban street corners, political activism, surviving a volcano, thumbing around America--her life has been lived with boldness and spirit, and music has been her constant companion. She is a classically trained vocalist and is adept on numerous instruments, including mandolin, mountain dulcimer, guitar and limber jack. With spoken word and beautiful folk music, Deb Cavanaugh will take us along on her journey for an evening.
