They've passed their 30th anniversary and they're stronger than ever! North Sea Gas is one of Scotland's most enduringly popular folk bands, boasting high spirits, manly three-part harmonies, and a repertoire of traditional, contemporary and self-penned material. Guitars, mandolin, fiddle, bouzouki, whistles, bodhrans, banjo and jolly good humour are all part of the delightful entertainment that has won them fans galore throughout Europe and North America.
North Sea Gas albums have received Gold and Silver disc awards from the Scottish Music Industry Association, and received many favorable reviews in the folk press. They have recorded 14 albums and are constantly adding new material to their show.
