Prism: Pärt & MacMillan

We celebrate Arvo Pärt's 80th birthday with a concert of his mystical, minimal music paired with pieces by Scotsman James MacMillan whose hauntingly beautiful works have been described as "both timeless and contemporary." The striking yet spare sounds of other contemporary composers, including a world premiere by John Muehleisen, round out a wonderful program.
