Albany Americana outfit The Red Haired Strangers is fronted by Ryan Dunham and John Rice, who have been playing together for over 20 years. Their beautiful old-school music drew on Country, Blues, & Bluegrass to create a classic Americana sound before the movement became the hottest thing in folk. From their origins as a guitar & harmonica duo, the Red Haired Strangers have blossomed with the addition of Joe Gumpper's fiddle, laced with some pedal steel (and dobro) from veteran Rick Morse, and Chris Scharl on drums.
