Edward Gorey has fans among crowds as diverse at Hot Topic Goths, art school elitists, and PBS patricians. His illustrations have been the favorites of generations of children, but were rarely intended for them a fact betrayed by his twisted themes, thinly veiled assignations and assassinations, and occasionally overt sexiness. Come out and join us for a night of Eerie Eroticism, Perverse Pleasure, and Sensual Schadenfreude. In April, Excelsior salutes a master of modern illustration, and the worlds his deceptively simple drawings conjured for all of us.

Join us for a night of dreadful whimsy on April 21st, as Cassandra Rosebeetle brings you burlesque "supported by perverts like you!" Dandy Dillinger shows us all that Edwardian has a couple different meanings. Betsy Propane reveals to the audience some Unpleasant Ends, and at least one very pleasant one, too. Kitty Katastrophe cleans out your pipes er, chimneys. Vonka Romanov shows us that the next generation of Gorey fans is up to, and Ruby Solitaire might just get up on stage and refuse to leave for 17 years...
