 Tonight's concert spans the generations and the possibilities of folk music. The two bands are connected through their lead vocalist, the celebrated Molly Hebert-Wilson, who sings in Irish and English.

Mist Covered Mountains features Molly with her mother, New England fiddler Donna Hebert, and guitarist Max Cohen (Priscilla Herdman). Their repertoire journeys from L'Acadie to the land of Faerie with fiddle tunes and songs from traditional Irish, Scots and Québécois sources, along with original pieces.

Eli August & the Abandoned Buildings is a contemporary ensemble based in Philadelphia. Their gothic Americana music is full of rich, earthy orchestration with percussive guitar and banjo and emotive lyrics.
