This powerful-yet-gentle Philadelphia band blends folk, R&B, jazz, country, and bluegrass together in songs that might be classics, or might just sound like it. Fronted by father-and-son duo David and Adrian Mowry, they play handsome vintage guitars and blend voices like only family members can. They have received numerous awards including "Grand Prize Winner of the Billboard Magazine World Song-Writing Contest," and the "Grand Prize Winner of the Telluride Blues & Brews Acoustic Competition" as well as top 40 on AMA's Americana, Roots, & Folk radio charts. A favorite of Caffe Lena audiences as duo since the early 2000s, this is the first time they'll be treating us to the full band. Jazz and classical bassist Bill Zinno (Ortlieb's Jazzhaus, Delaware Symphony) brings up the low end. Jeff Sheard, a touring and studio pro from Toronto, will be playing one of the oldest, coolest drum kits you'll ever see.
