What a treat to hear these two fast-rising young artists make music together! For years, Boston singer-songwriter Antje Duvekot has been critically praised for delivering songs full of hard-won wisdom, dark-eyed realism, and street-smart romanticism. As she matures, more and more we find themes of hope, growth, renewal, and love. Blending uncommonly beautiful vocals with a sharp poetic sensibility, Duvekot has a remarkable ability to make us believe she is whispering secrets in our ear.
We invested our faith in Seth and booked him to headline his own show here at the tender age of 17. Suffice to say, we called this one right. The now 23-year-old singer, pianist and guitarist aims straight for the gut with songs about the challenges of adult life. USA Today recently compared Seth to Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel, and Livingston Taylor called him the "greatest pop songwriter since Billy Joel."
