Josey Builds a Bakery: Film & Toast Bar

What does it take to open a bakery, a coffee shop, or a bakery-and-a-coffee shop in San Francisco? Filmmakers Claire Major and Najeeb Tarazi followed Josey Baker and Jodi Geren & Jeremy Tooker from Four Barrel coffee as they work together to open The Mill.

We will start the evening with the 15-minute film, followed up with a conversation with the filmmakers and Josey, Jeremy, and Jodi. Josey will then offer a short demonstration on how to make your own sourdough starter, and we will wrap up the evening by making our own amazing toast concoctions using Josey's special toast loaf and all the toppings you can imagine.

The event includes the film, discussion, demonstration, and unlimited toast; wine and beer will be available for sale.
