FILMMAKER BIO:
Rachel Israel received her BFA from RISD and her MFA from Columbia University. She is an adjunct professor at RISD and has directed short films that have screened worldwide. Israel's feature debut, Keep the Change, has received support from the Sundance Institute, Rooftop Film Festival, the Princess Grace Foundation, and Tribeca Film Festival.

Lucy is a radiant and theatrical 19-year-old diagnosed with Down Syndrome. Lucy and her sister Ceci are co-authors of Enabled a love story of inseparable sisterhood, with both sisters alternating perspectives through a mix of poetry and prose. The forthcoming book offers beauty and truth to the special needs community. Lucy attends Northern Virginia Community College and works at American Eagle Outfitters and is a member of the ReelAbilities Film Festival: Northern Virginia Committee. Ceci lives in Brooklyn, New York. She works at a fair and equal housing nonprofit.
