The Capital Region boasts a wealth of excellent musicians, and the four that have come together to form Shadowland are widely regarded as among the finest: Amy Collins, Mark Emanatian, Tom Dolan, and John Cromie. Through this new band they explore the highways and byways of Celtic-American-Roots music. Full of fun and joie de vivre, they play a lively mixture of originals and much-loved favorites served up with a unique style that takes full advantage of each player's specialty: Bluesy, Rootsy, Folky, Celticy . . . Beautiful harmonies, killer guitar licks, and pounding rhythms combine with compelling lyrics to make Shadowland one of the Northeast's most exciting new bands.
