Courageous Connecting
Courageous Connecting is an invitation to learn and practice the skills you need to create strong and healthy relationships among the people you live, work, and socialize with. Drawing from Authentic Relating Games https://www.authrev.com/, Possibility Management (https://possibilitymanagement.org/) and other modalities, we will journey together through a tapestry of skills and practices you can draw from for maintaining relationships that withstanding conflict and where you can explore new possibilities for creating deep, sustainable, and inspiring connections.

Thurs Jan 10: The Art of Getting Along in Community
Tues Jan 15: Creating Deeper Connections in Community
Wed Jan 30: Exploring Transparency and Acceptance in Community
There will be an optional skillshare from 9:30-10:00pm after each class. Bring your real life difficulties in your connections at home, work, in your family, with friends or in the community.
TIME: 7-9:30pm (doors open at 6:30, optional skill share from 9:30-10)
LOCATION: A private metro-accessible home in SE DC.
COST: A donation of $25 is requested for each evening. (contact me privately if that amount is prohibitive- we'll work something out!)

Thurs Jan 10: THE ART OF GETTING ALONG IN COMMUNITY
Most of us have very little instruction on how to navigate situations when our emotions boil over, where our differences make us wary of each other, where our needs seem incompatible. We blame ourselves or blame someone else We move out or we move on. It doesnt have to be that way
In fact, we can use those difficult moments as the catalyst to creating stronger more stable connections. Join us to find out how.
Tues Jan 15: CREATING DEEPER CONNECTIONS IN COMMUNITY
Most of us long for deep connections in our lives- maybe we have romantic partnerships or a few close friends, but what would it take to deepen our bonds with our co-workers, housemates or neighbors? The truth is that all of our relationships have the potential for amazing depth and closeness but it takes intention, initiative, skill and even courage to get there.
In this workshop, we will experiment with different kinds of practices you can use to create extraordinary relationships in all parts your life.
Wed Jan 30: EXPLORING TRANSPARENCY AND ACCEPTANCE IN COMMUNITY
Resilient connections involve sharing deeply and supporting each other skillfully. Revealing our vulnerabilities requires a level of permission we dont often find in our day to day lives.
This evening, lets see what happens when we offer more space for our whole selves to show up and practice the skills we need to support each other through difficult times.
