Nobody around here knows Cash better than these folks. Rockabilly Hall of Famer Marty Wendell toured as Johnny Cash's opening act following the release of Cash's Folsom Prison album. That was just one highlight of a career that has spanned more than 50 years. Tonight Wendell joined by the hillbilly-bluegrass sounds of The Bluebillies for a celebration of the songs of the Man in Black on the occasion of the 87th anniversary of his birth.
This show will be an album release for Marty Wendell's most recent album, "Rock & Roll Days." This album will be a celebration of Sun Records, and includes a bonus track featuring an interview between Wendell & Cash in 1968.
