Isabeau et les Chercheurs D'Or (and the Gold Diggers) dig deep into the roots of music and sources of Quebecois and Appalachian folk song. On recording, as well as on stage, the quintet always preserves the aura of truth that characterizes these styles of music so well. Freely drawing from folk music traditions, Isabeau and the Gold Diggers create their own country music adventure. In it, the listener discovers a personal world of romance, travel, and everyday life. Their music is timeless, whether the vocal harmonies, the mandolin, or the violin is carrying the tune. It makes you want to move, tap your feet and dance.
