UU Battle of the Bands 2019!

Unitarian Universalists are known for their commitment to peacemaking and equanimity -- except when it comes to rocking out on stage to compete for bragging rights as the best UU band in the Mid-Atlantic region!

Come join us for an evening of fierce competition, lead licks, horn solos, tight harmonies, and all-out fun! Come to cheer on performers from Fairfax, Columbia, UUMAC, and Rockville UU congregations. Come and vote with your $ to support the ministries of all four congregations for the best band!

The festivities start at 7pm with a special opening act you won't want to miss. Then each featured band will have 25 minutes to impress you, the voters, with their sweet sounds. Drop your admission ticket in the guitar case of your favorite band, then buy extra tickets for just $1 each to vote more.

Tickets are just $10. Purchase your tickets in advance and you will receive five extra voting tickets for free!
High school age and under youth are free with a paying adult - but you'll have to buy voting tickets at the door.

Each band has at least two youth members. Come and support our inspiring performers!
