In 1983, The Bobs put out their first album, which earned the group a Grammy nomination and pretty much re-wrote all the rules for vocal group music. "Instrumental" arrangements, dissonance, vocal percussion, ringing harmonics and melodic solo voices all linked with quirkily comedic material-this is the trademark Bobs sound and style that has since been emulated by a cappella groups around the planet.
Its been a long and successful run with The Bobs from thousands of live shows, to hundreds of original songs, and some 16 albums recorded. Now after 35 years the group has decided to stop touring and concentrate on their individual musical endeavors. But before this accomplished group gets off the road they will be joining us at Caffe Lena to share their legendary music one last time.
