A little more than a year ago, contemporary folk artists Pat Wictor, Greg Greenway, and Joe Jencks formed a dynamic new trio. With one album to their name, they rose to the top of the Folk DJ charts and hit the "best of" lists for the most esteemed folk DJs in the country.
Their harmonies, as much as their lyrics, tell what they are about: warm as a campfire, stirring as a gospel church, rousing as a call to arms. Calling upon original songwriting, informed by the deep roots of gospel, blues and folk, they weave a tapestry of harmony that is brilliantly fresh, yet hauntingly familiar.
