Songs of Pete & Dottie Spoor
Pete and Dottie Spoor did many great things for folk music during their lives. Among the finest were founding the Pickin' & Singin' Gatherin' (PSG), our region's folksong society, writing loads of great songs, and raising a son, Phil, who is blessed with great musical talent. Tonight Phil will be performing a night of his parent's folk and country songs to raise money for the PSG's annual festival, the GottaGetGon (Memorial Day weekend, Saratoga County Fairground). Phil will be accompanied by NYC musician Jefferson Thomas on guitar and bass. To learn more about the very active PSG and their year 'round activities, visit www.pickingandsinging.org
