When Italians utter formaggio, the word for cheese, they are almost always referring to parmigiano, truly, in its glorious flavors and remarkable dimensions, a king of cheeses. And if you love it as much as our Italian friends do, then this class is for you!

Viola Buitoni will take you through a historical exploration of this culinary wonder, looking at the history of its production area, its origins and that of the others that were born with it and because of it. The chat will include a look at various EEC food classifications and explain their value within the production contest. There will be small tastings of some of the products discussed.
