The Northeast Performing Arts Group's 2016 Dynamic Gospel Explosion Fundraiser

On Saturday, December 17, 2016, the Northeast Performing Arts Group (NEPAG) will host the 2016 Dynamic Gospel Explosion fundraiser at the Annabelle Ferguson Auditorium at Suitland
High School, located at 5200 Silver Hill Road, District Heights, Maryland 20747.

The Dynamic Gospel Explosion is not a competition, but an evening of praise and worship. This annual event is the brainchild of the late Rita Jackson (NEPAG's founder and former executive director), and is celebrated in partnership with the Districts faith-based community and will showcase some of the best gospel artists and liturgical dance ministries in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

This years fundraiser will feature performances from the Northeast Performing Arts Group, Starlite Performing Arts, Praise MIME African Dancer, Trinity AME Zion Ladies of Praise,
Empowered Movement Dance Ministry,Talent Group for Children, RMAR,Raw Element, The Cast of All Stars, Moving in the Spirit Dance Ministry, Katherine Smith Contemporary Dance Ensemble, Dance Visions of Art, Zion's Daughters Dance, Frankie Washington, Tempie Lee, Pheonix Amor, Union Temple Baptist Church's Matira Kucheza, Kids Konnection and many more.

The NEPAG is celebrating 37 years in service to the arts and is a nationally known 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization dedicated to changing the lives of youth through exposure to the
performing arts.

The auditorium doors will open at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, and the show will start promptly at 6:30 p.m.

The proceeds from this year's fundraiser will be used to augment funding for NEPAG's year round performing arts and academic-related programs for at-risk District youth, with an emphasis on wards east of the river.
