Auditions for CityDance 2016-2017 School Year

If you are unable to make it to our earlier auditions, please join us on Sunday, October 2, 2016!

Led by Artistic Director Lorraine Spiegler, CityDance prepares young dancers for 21st century careers with specialized training, rich performance opportunities, and strong connections to the professional dance world.

We do allow for walkups, but online registration is encouraged and will make the audition process more seamless.

AUDITION SCHEDULE
October 2, 2016:
Strathmore, Studio 304

Ages 7-10
Registration: 11:00-11:30am
Audition (Ballet/Contemporary): 11:30-12:30pm

Ages 11-14
Registration: 12:00-12:30pm
Audition (Ballet/Pointe/Contemporary): 12:30-2:30pm

Ages 14-19
Registration: 12:00-12:30pm*
Audition (Ballet/Pointe/Contemporary): 12:30-2:30*

DRESS CODE

Please bring a headshot and a full body shot, which does not need to be posed.

Female: black or navy leotard, pink convertible tights, pink ballet shoes with elastic straps, black dance shorts/leggings and bare feet for contemporary
Male: fitted black or white t-shirt or tank, black men's tights, black /white ballet shoes

At the conclusion of the audition, students accepted into the program will be sent individual class placement for the upcoming session.

PARKING

At our Strathmore location, there is free parking in the Grosvenor/Strathmore Metro parking garage and at the meters along Tuckerman Ln on weekends.
