Kids will get a chance to make acorn flour, taste acorn bread and make their own fresh, hand shaken herb butter. We'll get crafty with leaves and seeds while learning about local trees and the important role they play on our landscape. Youth will have a chance to try seasonal fruits and vegetables, explore the farm and meet the animals.
Ages 3-9
This is a child-focused farm experience. Registration is for children only, one adult may accompany each child.
Held at Soil Born Farms American River Ranch 2140 Chase Drive in Rancho Cordova.
Please Note: This event will be rain or shine. Participants will mostly be indoors with some outside time. Please bring a coat, boots and an umbrella.
