Kickoff Compost Week in style with a short journey exploring different ways to rethink food waste. We will enjoy tasty snacks made from food scraps and learn how to compost the rest. Starting at the Co-op, we will make the rounds with ReSoil Sacramento, stopping at Sun & Soil to pick up scraps and taste a few juices, and ending at Midtown Freedom Farm for snacks and a composting demonstration. Bicycles recommended, but drivers are also welcome.
