Although parenting has many rewards, it can also be challenging at times! Please join us on Wednesday, January 27th for an evening with a parenting coach. Julietta Skoog will be with us from 6-8 pm to offer tips and strategies for increasing effectiveness in gaining your child(ren)'s cooperation. Julietta will help us understand the role of children's developing brain and executive function skills in their behavior and offer discipline and guidance techniques to reduce power struggles and support an alliance of cooperation and mutual respect.
To learn more about Julietta, visit: http://www.juliettaskoog.com/
Please note: Hilltop has chosen to provide childcare to support your attendance at this event. We recognize, however, that some children can have difficulty adapting to an extended day and different environment and staff. To help it be most successful for the children (and you), we've changed the format to include a movie and an invitation to wear pajamas. Please do what feels best for your family about child care this evening, whether it's taking part in childcare at Hilltop or arranging for a familiar person to care for your child in your home, if you have the option.
