SARAH MORRIS:
Singer-songwriter Sarah Morris has a way of captivating her audiences with songs about the highs and lows of love. With a voice both cozy and commanding, demure and daring, Sarah allows us to feel every note. Her lyrics resonate with a unique combination of unflinching honesty and heartfelt tenderness: authentic portraits of love, loss, gratitude and regret.
Sarah brings a mix of classical training and Nashville chops to the stage, with a style she likes to call "a little twang, a lot of heart." Now firmly planted in the Twin Cities music scene, Sarah is a regular at The Dakota, Aster Cafe and Hell's Kitchen. When not onstage, Sarah can also be heard singing lullabies, nursery rhymes and various radio-country tunes, as requested by her two little bosses (aka beautiful children), Alistair and Millicent.
HANNAH VON DER HOFF:
Born and raised in Minneapolis, Hannah von der Hoff's emotive songs harken back to a classic time, when music was more raw, more powerful and dripping with what it means to be human. Wielding her iconic semi-hollowbody guitar, visceral jazz, blues, soul and folk influences converge in songs that are both familiar and challenging. Her soulful vocals provoke your gut, and the playfully smart content excites your mind. The dynamics of this live show take you from pin-drop vulnerability to passionate cries born from a belly moan.
