Set in the fictional town of Lenoraville, Alabama, Maytag Virgin tells the story of a year in the life of school teacher Elizabeth Nash and her new neighbor, Jack Key, as they struggle to move forward after a series of life-altering events. What was built must be leveled. What seems lost is not. Every one of us is broken, and every one of us can be whole again. Directed by Audrey Cefaly and featuring Gillian Shelly and Will Hardy.
Athol Fugard's A LESSON FROM ALOES

Set in 1963 in a white district of Port Elizabeth, South Africa, this moving play provides a compelling portrait of a police state. A liberal Afrikaner involved in anti-apartheid activity, his wife recovering from a nervous breakdown, and their Black friend just released from prison, must all consider the few alternatives that society offers them. Directed by acclaimed Washington Stage Guild actress/director Laura Giannarelli, who directed QTC's Faith Healer so brilliantly. Featuring David Dubov, Laura Russell, and Addison Switzer.
Anton Chekhov's THE LADY WITH THE LITTLE DOG

Two strangers in turn-of-the-19th century Yalta--one seeking refuge from an unhappy home life in Moscow, the other aching to find a more meaningful existence beyond provincial Saratov--discover what they have been searching for in each other. But can it last? Anton Chekhov's classic love story--his "quotidian" take on Tolstoy's "Anna Karenina"--receives an imaginative staging with live classical music. Directed by Stephanie Mumford, who adapted and staged Chekhov's "A Little Trick" at QTC. Featuring Chelsea Mayo, Ian Blackwell Rogers, David Dubov, violinist Christine Kharazian and pianist/composer Zach Roberts.
