Ticket price includes lunch, reimbursement for gas for those who drive for the carpool and the opportunity to meet the amazing farmers that are changing our world.

For the final edition of our farm tour series, we are staying close to home and visiting two farms that are near and dear to us. Guided by our fearless leader, Head Farmer at Bi-Rite Farmer Simon Richard, we are going to head north to Sonoma and visit Bi-Rite Family Farm and Oak Hill Farm.

Operating the Bi-Rite Farm, even at our small scale, not only teaches us where our food comes from but also helps us understand the hard work that farmers and ranchers do to feed us. Like many of the growers we work with, we never use any chemical inputs, but prefer to farm organically and harvest at peak flavor. Additionally, many of our staff members help out on the farm and can share that experience with our guests. We also host Farm Summer School here and the Full Moon Barn Dance. When in season, Bi-Rite's shelves are stocked with our own apples, tomatoes, peppers, figs, cucumbers, eggplants, lettuces, honeys, jams and more.

Oak Hill Farm of Sonoma is 45 acres of productive farmland set on 700 acres of protected wildlands nestled against the western slope of the Mayacamas Mountains in Glen Ellen, California. They have been growing flowers and produce using sustainable agricultural practices for more than 50 years, and in this temperate Mediterranean climate they are privileged to grow more than 200 varieties of flowers, shrubs, orchard fruit, herbs, and field-grown fruits and vegetables. Oak Hill Farm of Sonoma is dedicated to providing the freshest, most delectable fruits, vegetables and flowers possible, all of which have been grown using methods that promote health and well-being in the soil, in the environment, and in our communities.

**Lunch is provided by 18 Reasons and is included in the ticket price. We will facilitate carpooling to each farm and will reimburse drivers for the gas that they use.**
