An open mic just for storytellers. A featured performer opens the night with a 1/2 hour story.
This month's featured storyteller is Betty Cassidy. As a parent and a Speech and English teacher for many years, Betty has witnessed and used the power of the story to teach, amuse, and motivate others. Since retirement from full-time teaching, she has found more time to develop her skills as a teller through workshops and public performances throughout the Capital District.
Open Mic storytellers are asked to stay within a 10-minute limit and please no notes or written script.
