M is a story of crime and punishment and a psychological thriller ahead of its time. It stars Peter Lorre in his first major movie role. Award winning screenwriter Kirk Ellis will introduce the film.
Made in Germany in 1931, Lang was already a well-established director of silent films with such masterpieces as Metropolis to his credit. M is Lang's first talking picture, but it is punctuated with periods of silence to great effect. With a new digital version, this classic comes to life.
