Knife Skills+Chicken Soup #1
Resolutions and goals always seem to be more successful when there is a reward at the end, and there seems to be a direct correlation between the tastiness of the reward and success rate of reaching said goal. So we garner that if we teach you how to make the best freakin' chicken soup ever while also teaching you good knife skills and care, that you may actually sharpen your knives at regular intervals and remember to use "the claw" when cutting. This is a three-part series; in class #1, you will learn butchery skills by breaking down a chicken. In class #2, you will learn about big cuts by making chicken broth, and in class #3, you will learn fine cuts by mincing all the ingredients needed for lovely spring chicken soup. Each class includes a light chicken-based dinner, and this first class also includes your very own free range chicken to take home! Classes are once a month on the 2nd Thursday in February, March, and April, and tickets for each class will be sold separately.
