Produce Dinner: Chicories and Citrus with County Line Harvest

For this month's vegetarian dinner celebrating seasonal produce we are showcasing a winter pairing made in heaven: bitter chicories with sweet citrus. If all you know of chicories is radicchio and endive, be prepared to have your socks blown off. And if you are already familiar with beauties like Variegato di Castelfranco (!), then this dinner is made for you. You'll be sitting at the table with Dave Retskey of County Line Harvest, who has made a name for himself by producing some of the best chicories in the area. He'll explain chicory growing and chef Morgan Maki will demonstrate why these leafy greens are perfect partners for the other California winter gem: citrus. Grab a ticket, pull up a chair, and join us for a night of vegetarian decadence. Wine included.
